Silicon Valley Hacks Starts Tomorrow

Hello,

Silicon Valley Hacks is less than 12 hours away. We are excited to see what you will create in the next five days. A few reminders:

  1. Alon Grinshpoon (CEO of echoAR) will be leading a workshop tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 pm PST. The workshop will show how to quickly create AR/VR apps with no technical skills or coding required and scale existing apps by connecting them to the cloud. Workshop participants will learn how to create real-time cloud-connected augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) apps using the echoAR platform. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and an Android phone, or just follow along the live demonstration. Platforms for experimentation include: Google ARCore, WebXR, Vuforia, Unity-based apps, and more. We will email the workshop link to you as well as post it on the Discord.
  2. Still need a team? Please check out our #team-forming channel on Discord (https://discord.gg/pAPrkDE).
  3. If you already have a team, make sure all team members are signed up on Devpost.
  4. If at some point during the week you need help with your project, you can reach out to mentors on Discord through the designated mentors channel.
  5. If you are looking to create an AR/VR application, check out echoAR. They will be providing all participants of this event with the enterprise version of their software for free during the event.
  6. Once again, submissions are due Sunday morning (April 26) at 6 AM PST. Late submissions will not be accepted.

If you have any questions please reach out to us through Discord or email support@siliconvalleyhacks.com

Best,

The Silicon Valley Hacks Team
